Last Friday, the Van High School UIL Social Studies team won the District Meet for the 14th year in a row, qualifying them for the Regional Meet.
Our team score was 194 and the second place team, Lindale, score was 90. We also swept the individual medals. Megan Du Preez placed first, Reed Reynolds placed second, Henry Jackson placed third, Aiden Ragsdale placed fourth, Starla Zarate placed fifth, and Sydney Harker placed sixth.
The regional meet will be held at Texas A&M Commerce on April 22.
