Friday afternoons are for FUN, but the learning doesn't stop! Mrs. Thomas' math students put their 3-digit addition and subtraction skills to the test this afternoon, for a game of Deal or No Deal!
After forming 5 different groups, students worked together to solve a math problem. If the group solved the problem correctly, they could agree to keep their briefcase, and eliminate another, or trade their briefcase for a different one!
At the end, each group's prize was revealed to them! Prizes included a 30-second dance party, an online math game, flexible seating, and more fun things!
It was a fun day to be in Mrs. Thomas' math class!
