Ms. Gattis' 8th grade ag students were visited by the Mobile Dairy Classroom from Southwest Dairy Farmers this week! Students gathered outside to see "Luna", the dairy cow, and to learn all about the anatomy of dairy cows, the modern milking processes, and the journey milk takes from farm to table.
At the end of the presentation, they even got to see a live milking demonstration! It was a fun and educational day for these Vandals!
