Please join us in congratulating our 2024 Homecoming King & Queen, Cooper Hullum & Trinity Chapman!
Trinity is the daughter of Erica Osbourne and Dwayne Chapman. She is a member of the track and soccer teams and NHS. After high school, Trinity plans to attend TJC with hopes of getting her Associate's Degree in dental hygiene.
The Vandal homecoming tradition that she values most is seeing all the younger kids get excited at the parade as they pass by on their floats, because not so long ago that was her gleaming up at the older kids that she aspired to be.
"The best part of being a Vandal is how inviting everyone is," Trinity said. "Even though I haven't been here as long as everyone else, I genuinely believe I've made friendships that will last a lifetime."
Cooper Hullum is the son of Bill and Angie Hullum. Cooper is involved in One Act Play, Varsity Football, UIL Prose & Poetry, FCA, the VHS Leadership Team, and he is the NHS President.
After high school, Cooper plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin to pursue a PhD in psychology. Cooper's favorite Vandal homecoming tradition is trading mums and garters when he was younger!
"The best part about being a Vandal is the friendships I have been able to make from theatre and football throughout the years!" Cooper said.
Homecoming Queen nominees also included Zandi Moore, Jayla Thomas, Olivia Ryan, and Shelby Parker.
Homecoming King nominees also included Foster Rust, Armando Lozano Tudon, Austin Moffatt, and Easton Hinch.
The homecoming flower girls were Lucy Blackmon and Virginia Harvey, and the crown bearer was Beck Melewski, all escorted by VHS Counselor, Mr. Bill Giles.
